Hey anybody has used a magnetic encoder IC and can share his experience. I found this funny little guy
New AM4096 12-bit magnetic encoder chip
and was wondering if it can be used as an encoder for the CNC. It has 12bit resolution and is even programmable. So the resolution should be fair enough. But was wondering about error rate and how to attach it.
