    Mini Slant Bed lathe CNC

    Hi Evryone , From South Africa.
    Planning to build a Solid mini Desktop CNC lathe , here is just a rough plan\Design currently in progress.

    Machine Outside Dimensions H300mm X 450mmL X 320mmD + - 50Kg

    MGN9 Linear
    Nema 23 Stepper
    40mm EN19 Spindle Shaft
    ER32 Collet Chuck / 50mm Chinese 3 Jaw Chuck
    60mm Turning Diameter X 150mm
    Steel Bed
    Steel Saddle
    Alu Headstock
    Tapperd Roller Bearings X3
    12mm Ballscrews
    500w Brushless Spindle motor 4:1 Ratio = 3000Rpm

    any thoughts? Suggestions ect?

    Is your steel going to be solid, welded or bolted plate?

    Looks nice, I've got my eye on a lathe build when I've finished the minimill.
