Hi everybody I am new to this forum and fairly new to machining as well and was looking for a few pointers. I'm currently working with a Makino U3 machine and very unfortunately had to change over to .004" wire for this next job. I've noticed wire this size can be a pain to work with and was looking if anyone had any general suggestions to help or more specifically how I can improve machine time. I'm wiring out 2" thick steel and am going at about .019" a minute. Anyway I can speed this up?
