    Checkering a 1911

    I hope this is the right forum to post this:

    Can anyone recommend a desktop CNC that can handle checkering a 1911 frontstrap?

    An A axis machine would do I have done some practice Checkering on the flat not got to my A axis yet .I guess looking at it I would treat it as a diameter and say do half with a V cuttrer at what ever depth .
