Hello, I have a HWACHEON SIRIUS-UL machining center with the FANUC controller Series 18i-MB. I tried to insert a CF card to backup the memory, however, the machine did not respond. The message shown is along the line of the machine cannot find a cf card. "MEMORY CARD MOUNT ERRROR.HIT SELECT KEY" Could you advise me on how to solve this problem?

how big is the CF card?

I had to partition my card to 256 MB and set as the active partition before I was able to use it on the IPL screen.

You may also need to name the volume 'FANUC LTD' as you format it as FAT 16.

I use a 128MB Compact Flash card.

Size isn't the only limitation on the Fanuc also the type. I have good luck with Compact flash card 256MB (K8034)
