    NPT thread milling crash

i have programmed a very simple 1/2"-14 NPT thread, upon generating the tool path everything looks great!
but, when i simulate it, it makes moves that are not shown in the tool path and crashes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: NPT thread milling crash

There was no workpiece in your file but after I created one it would post a good file when I checked it with backplot and CNCdiscriminator. I've had issues with the simulator sometimes doing odd things with other files before too and I could not even get this file to run in the simulator (V30 with the latest update). From what I could see it couldn't figure out how to build the proper tool and to make sure I did check yours as well.

I get 17,000 lines of G-code to cut that. Ridiculous for one threaded hole. Arcs or lines does not matter, V32.
