I know squat about Mistu alarm codes, but moving a machine can
cause problems common to all:
Check the quality of your 3-ph power to the machine.
A difference in voltage or amperage available to the machine
(compared to where the machine was installed before) has caused
trouble for many.
Is there a voltage selector (230/240/280/300 etc...)?
It must match your available power.
Do you run it off of a phase Converter?
If this is a Fanuc spindle amp, alarm 33 usually means an open regen resistor on the mother board. There are two of these 100 ohm high watt resistors.
You can sometimes get by soldering a new one onto the board. Otherwise
you must replace the amp. What kind of machine, a hobber, drill, mill or what?
Mike,
What's the model number on the front of the spindle drive?
Scott
Thanks for all the replies, it seems like i have hope here.

The amp is a FREQROL Mitsubishi AC spindle controller modal FR-SF it also says type FR-SF-2-11K-PC
BN404U 482
Serial # W43825002
on the serial tag
Spark-el
This is a CNC lathe 1990 2 axis machine
Mike,
According to the Mitsubishi manual, alarm code 33 is an overvoltage alarm.

This is a link to the troubleshooting manual, should be of some help.

it is likely that either your sf-pw p.s. is going out or you have some shorted modules in the bse unit.if you still need help give me a fax number and i can fax you some detailed info on a quick easy way to check the base unit with an ohm meter.good luck
