    OK I put that motor aside because this is going to be very complicated. I better get a motor that will work with the drive.

    Looking at the 2nd hand motors of a local seller I've found an Allen-Bradley H4050-P-H04AA servo. Feedback method is TTL (Line Driver output). What do you think?

    The driver also allows resolver feedback. So maybe a motor with resolver like Allen Bradley MPL-A420P-HJ72AA

    If using a resolver motor, it has to be compatible with the drive.
    I have used the A.B. motors in the past, they are nice motors,

    They look very compatible to me but I don't trust myself

    Image 1 and 3 is from the drives manual. Image 2 is the motor.

    A person sells this motor on letgo.

    If I read the plate correct the id is H-4038-M-H00AX but there is no data on the reliance electric H series manual. Probably a special order product but still there has to be some info on the internet.

And one that does autotune and more importantly auto phasing of motor to feedback. And is priced like the 'cheap' AC servo drives (not as low as the low cost BLDC ones). And can run a DC motor with encoder feedback or an AC induction motor (these are more unique applications). And has a nice easy to use windows GUI.

    In all cases, double check with the manufacturer that your motor, feedback, and input requirements match their drive.
    The ABB MicroFlex E150 drive does allow all types of encoders, like the AKD you mention. Do you think I can drive the BMH0703T32F2A with it?

    One thing I noticed with the motor is that the encoder wants 7-12vDC while the E150 provides only 5vDC. I guess I can provide that 7-12vDC externally to the motor encoder.

    Come on guys. Help me pick an encoder for the 10 pole motor.

    I'm struggling with a parameter "direction". Please see the attached. I have no idea what "direction" means.
