INVERSE TIME FEEDRATE OPTION FOR 6 AXIS

    Hi All

I am using Kflop board for 5 axis. But now i want to use the same for 6 axis as well.

Inverse time feedrate option available in kflop is for 5 axis only.

I want to know that how do i use the same inverse time feedrate for 6 axis. eg X,Y,Z,A,B,C.

    Waiting for your kind reply.

    Thank You
    Regards

    Hi Amit,

Inverse time should work for any number of axes. Why do you say it is only available for 5 axes?

Hi tom, i want to know how to turn off inverse time feedrate option for 5 axes because it is causing jerk in machine movement.

I want to make machine movement smooth that is only possible without inverse time feedrate. How to turn it of for X,Y,Z,A,C axes.

    Waiting for your kind reply.

Re: INVERSE TIME FEEDRATE OPTION FOR 6 AXIS

    Hi Amit,

I'm confused. In your first post you seem to want to use inverse time for 6 axes? Now you don't want inverse time for 5 axes?

    Anyway,

G93 sets the Feed Mode to inverse time.

G94 set the Feed Mode to units per minute.

So use G94 to turn off inverse time feedrate.

Can you provide a simple GCode example of "jerky" motion?

Re: INVERSE TIME FEEDRATE OPTION FOR 6 AXIS

    Hi tom,

i am using following g code

    G1 X-3.096 Y-41.478 Z70.724 A90.021 C-3.509 F1000

    TO

    G1 X-5.052 Y-45.586 Z65.724 A85.092 C-5.365 F1000

But when i run the g code in kmotion cnc i am getting feed of 5 and 6 MMPM but as i said in g code it is f1000 so it should be 1000 right.

How to make the feed rate from 5-6mmpm to 1000 mmpm or constant feedrate for 5 axis.

    waiting for your kind reply.
    Regards

    Hi Amit,

For me that GCode executes in ~ 0.4seconds which seem about correct. For you it takes ~ 1minute ?

What are all your Trajectory Planner Settings?

For me that second line of GCode executes in ~ 0.4seconds which seems about correct. For you it takes ~ 1minute ? Yes or no? How long does it take for you?

    Hi Amit,

Like I said we don't see the problem here. So you will need to tell us what you are doing different.

Post your Init C Program and all GCode before the two lines of GCode.
