I am working on a prototype that requires a single-axis servo system with very high accuracy. I don't need a lot of power or torque, the servo will turn a relatively light object just several degrees. I looked online but I couldn't find many options. Maybe I am not searching correctly. The application is very sensitive to vibrations so I cannot use a stepper.

Could someone suggest a brand/model or simply point me in the right direction?

These are the requirements:
- Brushless
- Low voltage
- The drive should be able to work with Pulse(Step)/Direction signals
- Very high PPR

In previous discussions in this forum, I've read about motors (encoders) with 40000PPR or even more, however, I couldn't find even one.
The closest thing I found so far are these:

- ACM601V36-T
- ACS806

Could you recommend a better alternative?

DMM is your best choice for price on servo and drives with a high resolution Encoder there standard 16 Bit or you might be just in time for there new 32 Bit encoder soon to be released, most likely at IMTS show this month

Sigma II and up to the latest would be the only Drives Motors to look at starting at SGDH series they use all methods for control so you have a choice and the Sigma II are standard with 17Bit encoder, and adjustable to what ever resolution you want to use, they are also very easy to get up and running, with this plug from CNC4PC you then only need a Ethernet cable to a Breakout Board for Step / Dir Control, I do have some of these new starting at 400w

Interesting. Do you know if the signal-converter from CNC4PC would work with the more recent Yaskawa drives?
Would it work with the single-axis SGD7S Sigma-7Siec for example?

It is not a signal converter, it is just simplify the connection, I'm not sure if the sigma 7 have the same plug or pinouts but I could check, yes sigma5 and 7 are very nice
