Controller + breakout board for Mach4? Ethernet Smoothstepper?

Controller board that works with Mach4 - what can be recommended?

So far i've run with CNC xPRO Controller V3 and GRBL - but I would like to try out Mach 4.

My current XYZ setup is pretty "standard/simple" (it's the Workbee CNC machine): limit switches, z probe, nema 23, manuel spindle (KRESS 1050) run on a desktop PC with windows 10.

Someone recommended me the Ethernet Smoothstepper:

But to be honest, im a rookie with all of this and have no idea on what's good and what's not - i'm not looking for something overly complex.

Before you buy anything, contact the manufacturer and ask them what Mach4 features are NOT supported by their controller.

Here are some other Mach4 controllers.

Rather than Mach4, my recommendation would be either a Centroid Acorn, or UCCNC, with a UC400ETH controller.

If you should decide to go with the UCCNC and a UC300ETH-UB1 I have a brand new one I can't use with UCCNC license.
