I think it says drill 5.3 mm clearance hole for a M5x.8 screw. Fit class H (close). Normal clearance is 5.5mm for a 5mm screw.

That was a thought I had, was it was a clearance hole. I did forget to mention the following information was included in the notes when we got this job....(Tapped Holes: 4) see below.

    Notes:
    Material: Aluminum 6061-T6
    Standard Inspection
    Tapped Holes: 4
FINISH: BEAD BLAST THEN BLACK ANODIZE

Sounds like conflicting information, I would check with the customer to be sure.

Waiting on customer response. Unfortunately the part was already manufactured and "Failed Customer Inspection". I received a inspection report this morning and responded immediately. I reviewed the print and information and did some searching online and didn't find any direct information. I believe it to be a design/print error. We threaded the holes and the Failed Inspection report we received stated "M5 X .8 ISO - H CLEAR INSERT MISSING, PART THREAD INSTEAD"

I'll update if any more info comes.

    Thanks
