    Hi all

Been having a tuff with with my Smoothstepper ESS running mach 3 the machine seams to be working good other then when at high speed, over 90 ipm anything that not a strait line seams to be ruff and choppy and under 90 ipm everything seams fine, I tried it running it in air and still the same,

    Anyone have any ideas ??

Make sure CV mode is on, and all CV options are turned off, on both the settings page and in General Config.

I feel stupid here, all i can find is under general config is CV control, plasma mode, cv dist tolerance, g100 adaptive nubsCV and stop cv on angels

I have CV dist Tolerance set to 720
    G100 adaptive nubs CV checked

Turn them all off, as well as CV Distance and CV Feederate on the Settings page.

Right on Thanks Seams to be working good now

I also found this on warp9 site

Abrupt stops in Circles or Arcs while in CV mode

Once you have motor tuning set up correctly for your hardware, the SmoothStepper will move your motors very smoothly. You should not see abrupt jerks or harsh movements.

However, there is one situation where we have seen jerky movement and abrupt stopping and starting, and that is on Arcs and Circles when feedrate override is being used. When the feedrate override is turned back down to normal (to the rate commanded in the G-Code) everything is smooth and continuous again.

What is happening is that Mach3 is miscalculating the information (due to the feedrate override) and corrupting the movement. If you adjust your G-Code file to use your new desired feedrate, with no feedrate override, you should be able to cut your parts smoothly at the faster speed.

I was using the feedrate over ride

    Thanks agine
