any issues using dmap2gcode with UGS and GRBL

Do any of you know if dmap2gcode can be used with UGS and GRBL?
I am building a GRBL based CNC router and want to cut 3D lake maps and dmap2gcode looks like an easy way to go but the doc mentions Linuxcnc so I was just wondering if it will work with UGS?
    Thanks

Re: any issues using dmap2gcode with UGS and GRBL

Since dmap2gcode's changelog on its front webpage explicitly mentions GRBL I would expect it to work. In general, there's no reason why any g-code interpreter would not work with g-code meant for another one - except if it does not support some of the g-codes that the other one does. However, although it's certainly true that GRBL only supports a modest subset of all existing g-codes, typical and relatively simple machining operations should not really need or use any of the fancy stuff GRBL does not implement. So yeah, it should just work - but I have never used dmap2gcode, so I can't say for sure.
