Hi all, first i would like to apologize. i am very, very new to these centroid controls. ive got a centroid "acorn"? retrofitted to an old wotan HBM. we have been using it for a while now and all seems good until today my operator tried to override the feedrate and it wouldn't budge. the feed increased on the PC monitor and the override % display, but not at the machine? any healp would be greatly appreciated. and again, sorry for the lack of information....

It would be very difficult to make a useful guess about this, without knowing more about the control; how it is configured; what PLC program it is running; etc..

Fortunately, Centroid controls provide a "Report" feature, which packs nearly all the relevant information into a ZIP file archive, suitable for e-mailing or posting online.
See Report files from a Centroid control for information about how to create a Report.

If you post the report ZIP file here, then someone could look at it and see how your particular control is configured; whether it is using a physical jog panel, keyboard jog panel, VCP, or WMPG; what provision it has for turning Rapid Override mode on and off; etc..
