    Haas DS30SSY x axis lost

    Hi all,

Our operator forgot to clamp the main chuck and had a minor crash. I replaced the tool and used the ATP to redo the tool offsets, now when the programmed x dimension is at 1.2000, the tool tip is actually at 1.0000. Any suggestions on what the issue is? Thanks.

On the bright side, having Y axis makes it easier. If bmt Indicate turret bmt surf in Y for your curvic clocking.
Indicate same in Z for turret skew. I like to then go the next step abd indicate the main spindle
perpendicularity to X. If that is good I stop. If its outthen fix that and check concentricity of main to sub.
