I am getting an "Unhandled Exception" error in a Microsoft .NET Framework window when I try to run the screen editor. This is a new install of Kmotion434 on a fresh install of windows 64. Nothing else loaded on the computer.
It makes a big red X in the editor window and all the fields are blank.

Dot Net version 4.62 and Visual Studio 2015 failed to install because newer versions were already on the computer.

Hi Todd,

It seems Windows paints the red X when it receives as exception when it paints the screen control. KMotionCNC Screen Editor uses OpenGL graphics to paint that screen area. There might be an issue with OpenGL on your computer. Although the KMotionCNC GViewer Screen also uses OpenGL. Does the GViewer work ok? You might follow the steps from this site to check your OpenGL.

I think there may be something regarding your screen resolution as even the Windows Error Message Box has miss-sized buttons. You might try setting your display setting Scale and Layout to 100% and/or change the resolution to see if it makes a difference.

Also please make sure the KMotionCNC | Tool Setup | Tool/Setup Files | Main Dialog Face is set to custom before running the KMotionCNC Screen Editor.

I had the dialog set to custom, but I did not delete the screen script file. Once I did that it fired right up!

Strange. Not sure why have a screen script specified would cause a problem.

Tom, another update, It was not deleting the screen script file that fixed it, it was switching from 4k to standard resolution. Anyways, it's working great and thanks again.
