    add grounding

I bought this spindle from solar.jean on ebay and was wondering how I should try to add grounding to this? The top cap and fan top are both plastic. The screw nearest the spindle mounting plate was stripped out and I was thinking I may be able to use that to get a ground connected.

I can't tell where the stripped screw is.
Any screw in the inside of the outer housing of the spindle and wired to the fourth empty pin on the spindle connector, should be fine.

I assume its an air cooled spindle?

A hint when posting pics. ( it took me ages to work this out...lol) crop the pic so its wider than it is tall and it should display correctly.

If I have continuity on earth to the spindle housing grbl throws a "hard limit" error every time I start the spindle. My limit switches have filters and I'm perplexed as to how to fix the noise issue.

Noise usually goes back from the drive into the supply...so a filter just before the drive should help block that noise going into psu's etc. Also noise from the cabling can affect low voltage devices
