Problems with Inlay pieces not getting cut correctly.

OK, so I have done inlays before with fairly large pieces and have not had any problems but not I am working with some fairly skinny pieces and for some reason the cuts are not coming out correctly.

I am doing an inlay that will be .3" deep and I using a 30 degree vbit. the pieces is about 4 inches long and about 0.125" wide.

When I run the simulation on Vcarve it looks correct. below is a pic of what the simulation looks like.

However when I do the cut it looks like is is offset to the left. Not sure why that is but i have not seen this before when doing inlays.

    any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

As far as I can see from your photo, you wood is breaking away. I guess that you are cutting too much material in the final pass.
