I was sent a stl file of a design to open on my artcam 2012 jewelsmith, when I download the file which is about 25 mb it shows up on my desk top as a Microsoft edge file as 50kb, this is not recognized by the artcam program, I need to convert this to a readable file for artcam, can anyone help?

Sounds like the file may be corrupted. This could be from the sender or from you as the receiver. Verify whether the file should be copied as a binary or ASCII file and copy it accordingly from both ends (sender/receiver).
