Hi, I have just purchased Mori Seiki TV300 with Mitsubishi MELDAS MSC802M controller, model 2001-2. All machine parameters and book are with it. These machines were imported from Japan. When I powered the machine its screen shows Japanese language. So I need help, how I could change the screen language. I would appreciate if I get some help.

You can change language to English by setting Parameter #1043=1.
1. The first, you put to GOP softkey, and press to unlock
2. Then, press OFFSET softkey 2 times.
3. Select SETUP softkey (the 5nd), then press INPUT key
4. select Y symbol.
5. You search the parameter #1043, input 1 to Data blank and press INPUT softkey.

Hi, thank you for your assistance. I have tried as your instruction but i am unable to reach your 3rd step (set up soft key 2 time)
I would appreciate if you could assist me if possible by a short vdo?
I have the picture of the screen to show you but i am unable to find how to upload these.....

Hi, I got some difficulty to remove some inter locking's in the machine, Anyhow I have followed your instructions and successfully reached #1043 and changed it to 1(english). Turned off the machine and restarted and found that the screen still shows some Japanese language specially on the top side of the screen. On the bottom it is English language.
I have successfully homed all axis tool is indexing but i am unable to run the spindle and unable find the screen to write my program.
I hope you would assist me.

Hi,

I can help change Japanese to English...

go to GOP, turn off the keys, push down arrow until 20 is displayed, change it to a 1, then power cycle the front panel.
