    2017 screenset

    1. I have a few questions. In the automatic tool change does the router stop after moving to the tool change location or do you have to stop it manually before
    changing the tool.

    2. In "Run from here" I started on a line before a tool change, but when It came to the M6 it ignored the tool change and said new tool = current tool. Not sure
    if I understand this completely.

    3. When finding the center of a pipe (I use the triple edge finder) does the router retract automatically above the pipe or is it done manually. Not a big deal
    if it doesn't but would be nice if it did.

    Thanks
    Jim

    1) You're g-code should be stopping the spindle before an M6. The M6 macro does not stop it.
    You can always modify the M6 macro, bu adding this line near the beginning.

    exec.Stopspin();

    2) If the current tool # is the same as the new tool number in the M6 line, than no tool change will take place. The macro will give you that message, and then exit.

    3) No, the Z axis does not retract after finding the center.

    Thanks Gerry.
    I used the Mach3 ATC Arcs inch.txt post processor in vcarve pro. I didn't see one for UCCNC. Did I miss something or is there another one that will work.
    Thanks for the reply.

    The Mach3 post should work fine.
