Exclamation novusun v2 4 axis 200hz ,help on setup spindle

hello CNC User, i am trying to setup a new water cooled Spindle and a Vfd.
    spec:
    2.2k 220v motor, 24k rpm ,400hz , 8.5A
VFD , its a A2--8022 , made by Isaco power control tech. 1 phase in , 3 phase out 220v
Well i test few times what i was think to be the right output but i can't get the voltage to to go up and down on the VSO pin form 0 to 10V+ , i can read 10.56v or 0.4v at pin VSO/Gnd1 , i didn't turn on the VFD while testing the voltage.I don't want to fry the VFd, i want to be sure that i have the right wire connected to the usb control and vfd.
here some screenshot of Mach3 setup and the wire connected to the VFD and controller.
Sorry didn't know how to shrink the images.

Some things not set correct if you have a 24,000 RPM Spindle then the Pulley setting would not be 8000

You normally don't use a reverse when using these spindles you have this wired

You sure you are using step/dir for control for the spindle, it is mostly controlled by PWM 0-10v what Breakout Board are you using

Re: novusun v2 4 axis 200hz ,help on setup spindle

hi, yes i had the spindle pulley at wrong speed , fix it to 24000. and now its setup on pwm control, i disable motor output spindle , i still read 10v volts on the pins gnd1/VS0 of the controller. the breakout board its the Nvum v2 usb, do i need to change something to the vfd config. In the manual of the vfd i see pn 03: source of run-time frequency with range. i see a 2- panel button and 4- External voltage signal 0-10v ??? , the pn03 its set to 2 right now, i changed few parameter to the vfd , not sure if right too.
i did try the p03 to #4 and the vfd screen show a blinking 000000 freq.

Ok, I check the manual and say , one analog 0-10v Vso , I try to enter the pin number that I see on the manual but the voltage stay high. In the motor output if I set high dir/step on the spindle , voltage of Vso goes down to zero

How did you fix your problem? I'm pulling my hair out with the same issue...lol

I have the same issue. I'm at the testing stage and have not hooked up the VFD, just verifying the outputs from the NVUM are correct before proceeding. I either get 105mv or 10.4v from VSO/Gnd1 no matter where the spindle speed slider is in mach3.

Re: novusun v2 4 axis 200hz ,help on setup spindle

I have this issue and have gone through all the manuals and videos I could find.

Hooking it to my VFD is the second issue but if this does not work then there is no point.

How did you solve this? I have tried everything I could possibly find online and all suggested settings in Mach3 and still nothing but 10.5V on the VSO pin.

Also the output 1 seems to just turn on a ground connection.

Here's a link to the manual.
X1 is by default set to forward. I'm not sure how to get this to activate without using a relay to switch a supply from somewhere. Or what terminals to switch between as it doesn't really say. The thig doesn't have the normal labelling. The VSO can go from the ground to AI1 as it shows for speed and that does seem to work on the VFD end(If VSO was working the other end.). But it doesn't make clear where X1's ground is. And unless it all just works its hard to know if the thing is working or not.
That's before you get in to faffing with settings.

Am desperate for help with this. Its the last thing before chips can fly.

If it does not change then you have some configuration problem in Mach3 to the Control

Everything has to do with Ports and Pins to get an output working

Can anyone confirm that he managed to solve this problem? I'm getting 10.4v on VSO even when mach3 isn't connected, right after reset of controller. Needless to say that no actions e.g. start spindle / stop spindle works, it's always 10.4v volts.

Change your Spindle setting, Select PWM Control under Motor Control. PWM base frequency 2083

I guess I might be late by now, but for the record the novusun manual shows wrong setting for splindle, namely DirLowAcitve; it should be check marked

Re: novusun v2 4 axis 200hz ,help on setup spindle

    Hi.
i am having the same problem. As soon as I open the controller I see 10.4v even though mach3 is not open. I tried everything written here. Anyone find the solution? I have tried many things for 3 days. Sometimes the opposite happens when I check dirlowActive. I also tried by disconnecting my drive. I can not figure it out in any way. please give your idea. Thanks.

i have exaclty the same probelm. everything works fine except the speed control from NVUM on VSO pin to VI on VFD. Any help would be appreciated.
