    tb6560 + nema 23 +grbl

hello and I come to the aid because I do not know what else to do and my knowledge no longer give for more the case is that I have these nema 23
https://www.hta3d.com/en/nema23-23hs...hase-8mm-shaft with the TB6560 driver plus the arduino grbl, gcode sender and I'm not able to move the motor I do not know if it's bad canfiguracion in grbl or that I do not know anything anymore, so I ask for help here
    * subo configuration of TB6560 is but that this well already burn 2 tb6560

    @Tazma

This combination should work without any problems.
Just to check your hardware is OK, do the following:

    • Use the attached GRBL configuration, upload it to the GRBL controller and check each setting after uploading. This configuration works for a TB6560 / GRBL combinations
    • Remove all connections from the driver
    • Connect the arduino +5V to TB6560 CLK+
    • Connect the arduino PIN2 (Step pulse X-axis) to TB6560 CLK-
    • Connect the power supply GND to the TB6560 GND
    • Connect the power supply Output (probably 24 V) to the TB6560 24V
    • Set all TB6560 dip-switches to OFF
    • Set all TB6560 dip-switch SW1 to on (1.6A run current)
    • Disconnect the stepper motor axis
    • Try to turn it by hand
    • Take one of the 4 stepper wires
    • Connect it to one of the other 3 wires
    • Turn the stepper motor axis. If it is harder to turn, these 2 wires form a set (coil), if not try one of the other two.
    • Connect the two stepper wires found to the A+ and A- of the TB6560
    • Connect the other two stepper wires to the B+ and B- of the TB6560

Now use Gcode sender to jog at a feed rate of 1 mm/min. You should see the pulse led on the TB6560 board blink and the stepper should turn slowly.

I used UGS 2.0 for testing, but any version will do.

Let me know if this works.

hello and thanks for the answer but forgive my clumsiness
I want to make sure before connecting that I understood the explanation well

    Is it like the image?

installed ugs 2.0 but it is rare what it does ??

    Re: tb6560 + nema 23 +grbl

The connection between the arduino and the TB6560 driver seems ok.
I can't see the connection of the steppers or power supply
The dip switch setting seems ok.

The video shows continues status results because you have enabled Verbose Output (Mosta Salide ... can't realy see the text). Turn it off to see other more important information.
Is the pulse led on the TB6560 blinking (need to add power to the TB6560 to see the led blink)

I included two screenshots of my test, one after connection to the arduino com port and one after jogging X+ 1 mm at 1 mm / min

    Connecting

    Jogging 1 mm X+

Is the pulse led on the TB6560 blinking (need to add power to the TB6560 to see the led blink)

You could do a test without the stepper connected. If the led is blinking during jog, you are on the right way.

Consider buying a TB6600 driver the next time. It produces less heat, is harder to break and cost about the same.

hello and thanks for patience because I'm desperate I do not understand why it does not work
It is possible that TB6560 is in poor condition I hang photo tb6560 I think that
    it is reason for error
I hang capture gcode sender and photo tb6560 + arduino + power supply
ok 2 wires together and it costs more to spin

if together cables can not rotate shaft

Have you tested connecting enable wires on tb6560? Otherwise looking like it should do at least something.

    @tazma

ok 2 wires together and it costs more to spin
That means that those 2 wires form a coil and should be connected to either A+ and A- or B+ and B-

if together cables can not rotate shaft
That means the stepper is OK.

    Your wiring looks OK.

I have tested using the same board you have, using the same wiring, same GCODE sender and my stepper turns!

    • Does the pulse led on the TB6560 board blinks during jog move?
    • Is the stepper harder to turn by hand during jog move
    • What voltage is the power supply
    • What current is the power supply
    • Please make a picture of the power supply

I think it has a crossing the tb6560 component 78m05 when it is touched burning that is not normal

e asked for new draiver these are not going well I think that's the fault

Does the pulse LED flash on the TB6560 board during the jog movement? does not blink
It is more difficult to turn with the hand during the jog movement I do not know what is a job ??? it does not translate
What voltage is the power source?
What current is the power source?
Please take a picture of the power supply

When i run my TB6560 at 24 volts, this power regulator doesn't even get warm. Can you measure the 24 volt supply voltage?

    Thank you
The regulator probably is ok, because these are really hard to break. The TB6560 chip is more delicate and could if broken ,draw to much current from this regulator. Replace the TB6560 by a (ebay) TB6600 driver, this is cheaper than repair. But also check the output of the power supply if you can!

I already checked the power source and ok 24v

I ordered the tb6600 driver when
are in my power I will continue with the cnc assembly
    thanks for everything

    @tazme,

I can't play the video and my Spanish is not that good, but google translator thinks you have a working configuration.

    Have fun,
