Aluminum Extrusion CNC frame from china similar to CNCrouterParts.com?

I see many Chinese hobby cnc machines using 20x40mm aluminum extrusion, but I cannot seem to find any Chinese cnc machines that use the thicker aluminum frames like CNCrouterParts.com uses.

I would much rather get a cnc machine that is made out of aluminum extrusions than the huge steel ones that weigh so much you need heavier machines to install and move around.

I am getting a container load imported into USA in about 3 to 4 weeks and though I could add a cnc machine to the load.

Re: Aluminum Extrusion CNC frame from china similar to CNCrouterParts.com?

20x40 extrusions are far too weak fora CNC. I have never actually seen one, but my current 3D printer is built out of 30x60 and I would not like to build a CNC from that, let alone 20x40. My CNC is build out of 90x45 and I think that's the minimum. I agree that moving it around is not very simple, mine weights about 90 kg, but the heavier the metter in terms if rigidity and overall quality.
