Well, after adding spring washers, cranking up the air, and adjusting the draw bar so tools just barely fall out I've run loads up to 0.5 HP with a 1/2" 3 flute endmill and not had any pullout out.

The other day I had to true up a bunch of 4" long blanks from 2" flat bar stock. I rough cut them on the saw about 1/8 inch long. Mounted a 4" vise in the 6" inch vises on the table and roughed as above. Then finished at 50 IPM (climb) and full 0.50 depth of stock (cutting at -0.52 and .02 WOC.) After 25 pieces (50 cuts) I could see no light between the tool and the spindle with a high intensity light. Now to try some slower heavier cuts and see if it sill stays in the spindle.
