    DC servo drive for AC servo motor

    Hi ,
    i found on a machine this configuration :
    motor Bosch QUVF 132L/ 4c -11
    drive VM 100/R-TA
    + SPM 75-TD
    +KM 2200 - T

    my question is how can that be possible to use a dc drive for an AC Motor ?
