    Machine overshot X during home

I've had the machine down for most of a week and starting it up this morning (in a chilly shop) it overshot the home position and faulted out.

Reset would not work so I ended up rebooting.

Now how to I move the axis backwards from the normal home direction to get it into a better position to try again?

Edit: I should clarify. Partner 1E Cent 5
I only see 1 switch in total on the X axis somehow. Right hand side Front of machine.

hold the reset button in and use the handwheel.

I wasn't having any luck trying that trick. Kept getting an error and having to exit the screen. May hve been screwing it up on my end though.

I eventually just hit the estop move the way cover and put some gloves on to move the leadscrew by hand. Cleaning up the switch fixed the issue and I'm back in business.

HI Yugami, Press Estop, Then Press and hold IN. The reset button, while holding in the reset select jog or hand wheel and move the axis off the limit switch.
You have to hold in the reset, some switches get worn and work better in one corner or another.
