    Aluminium-/Extrusion CNC Build

    Hi,

    just another build Thread for a CNC Router based on Aluminiumextrusion.

    Specs:

    25mm Linear rails on all axis,
    1605 Ballscrews for Y and Z Axis
    2005 Ballscrew for X Axis
    Motors: Nema23 High Torque Stepper, open loop ( They get replaced by 400W servos in future )

    The CAD Model:








    Building the Z Axis (drilling, drilling and yes.. even more drilling):

    As you may notice, the motor and the ballscrew in the CAD is mounted to the front of the Z. On the actual build everything is mounted to the back.

    The Motormountingbrackets for the Y axis are mostly finished:
