    Question Collect data from old FANUC controller (RS-232)

    Hello all,

    We have multiple CNC Hardinge with FANUC controller and I want to get some data to calculate the OEE (I want to known if the machine is working or not)
    The only port available is RS-232

    We have most recent CNC with FOCAS and it is easy to get information. I search for an equivalent with RS-232 for my old controllers (0-MD and 18-T)

    Is it possible to get informations with RS-232 on old controller ?

    DNC Precision, Machine monitoring. It can capture info about machine activity to a database or Excel.

    Certain data can be sent from the control through the DPRINT command; this command may not be available or be optional on your control. No special comm software is needed on the PC side.

    I have the Fanuc manual for RS232 for the 0 and 10-11-12 etc. if needed, send email by PM.
    There is free Cadem Lite for a transfer program.
