    Y AXIS RESOLUTION?

For some reason I can't get my y axis resolution set to correspond with grbl steps. Using 8030 stepper drivers and nema 34 motors, motor manual says to use at
1/8 steps, but when I jog at 100 steps or 100mm I get 80mm travel, at 1/4 steps I get 40mm travel, and at 1/2 steps I get 160 mm travel. These are the only options that get anywhere close to the right distance resolution. Have tried every listed resolution and none give me the right distance travel. Is there a gcode command to set the proper resolution? Thanx

Your machine / grbl is setup with the wrong resolution, change the setting in grbl
