Disabling single stepper on G540 drive

    Hello,

I am using a Gecko G540 drive (with an Arduino-like PLC, Controllino) to drive 3 steppers. Is there any way to disable a single stepper out of the 3 and let the two others run normally ? (I need to disable one stepper so that it doesn't prevent another one from rotating).
I have looked on this forum, and on the internet but with no success.

Thank you all for your help.

    Best regards,

So you need to deenergize the disabled motor? Then the answer is no, unless you modify your G540. It has a single /ENABLE input for all 4 motors.

Turn off the power, disconnect the stepper motor from the controller, turn the power back on, and you should be good to go.
