    Help!!! PC connection via RS232

    We have a hitachi seiki hicell 23b machine.
    When attempting to transfer a program from a PC to the machine via a pc232 cable, an error “Line is busy” appears on the machine.
    Help fix the problem. Photo error in the attachment.

    You are probably better off to use a 3 wire cable with the handshake jumpered out at each end.
