I would like to remove the sheet metal spindle cover and not sure how to start. Does it come out the top or out the door opening? I can't go out the top as there is not enough room to the ceiling. How many screws are there? Are some hiding somewhere? How many screws in the chip guard? Can someone provide a step by step instruction please, I don't want to make any mistakes. What do I do about the tool release button (switch)?

just had mine off on my vf0 a few times to make it way easier drop the spindle down in z close to the table I don't remember any set procedure for the screws just pop them all off and big thing to make sure of is when you start to slide/pull it off disconnect the tool release button just a quick disconnect there. shouldn't be a big task always helps to have a 2nd set of hands to help get it off.
