Just went to the file which it SHOULD still be in and i's missing I know MPS2003 backup is on the system, but not sure if I ever uploaded MPS2000 ... I'll have a dig ... Mach3 will drive 3 axies when in MaxNC mode.

    Re: Mps2000 v2.2

Am in a similar situation. Have a Taig Mill 2019 which I am reviving and it has the old controller box with the two parallel ports and the four DIN stepper motor plugs. It used to run on MPS2000 very well but cannot find the MPS 2000 and it makes sense to move to Mach3. Have configured the Mach3 but not successfully as there is no movement although changing voltages can be measured on the parallel port pins. Looking on the forums it seems that the mach 3 must be put into MaxCNC mode and that the MPS 2000 controller with the two ports (one for the rotating 4th axis) is quite old and uses a different signal regime.
In the event that you have the same controller I should be very grateful if you would let me know how you set up the Mach3 and better still send me a configuration file. The control box is well made and rugged and I'm not about to bin it.
The is a member named R-Ban who says he has a post devoted to this but his used name says "Banned" and a search finds no results.

    What can he have done?!

    Thanks for the help,

https://medw.co.uk/wiki/Taig+MPS2000...+mode+on+Mach3 ... although I probably need to check the links still work!
Kurt is still supplying the Step and Direction board that converts the 2000 to a 2003 and provides single parallel port connection to Mach3. Not sure what price it is these days. I think I have one left in stock here but not sure on the cables to fit it
    Is it the link?
