I am Planning to buy an used Nakamura TW20 Twin Spindle Twin Turret Turn Mill
Its a 1989 model with a Fanuc 0TB/C control
Is Polar Coordinate to Cartesian Coordinate Milling available on this machine ( G12.1 / G121 ) ?
If its not available then what could be the disadvantage i would have
Please help me in taking a decision

most twin turret machines have TT type controls. Being an 89 I would make sure it even has C axis contouring at all. On current gen controls I find that with polar I get much nicer finishes as opposed do direct C input type. Plus the programs are smaller,I think.

I went ahead and purchased this machine
its has c axis contouring ( c, x, and z axis moving together )
only thing i have to overcome is Polar co-ordinate milling
