    Mill Turn 5C chuck

Has anyone been able to fit a 5C chuck to their Mill Turn?

Yes, I got a cheap one from China and made the back plate.

Did you happen to make a drawing of the backing plate? I wasn't sure if the cheap one would be to small to mount to the spindle. I couldn't find any specific dimensions for the chuck on any of the websites.

I had a sketch at the time, but, it is long since gone. These are important measurements I found on my phone.

I ordered a chuck and back plate like this one.

I'll look around and see what else I can find.

    A few more photos.

Also you could use the collet blocks and drawbar that Shopmaster sells. Works with a 3, 4, or 6 jaw chuck.
