Hello mates,i'd like to share my experience converting my milling machine to cnc..First of all I want to thank all the members that have shared their builds in this forum and especially 91TSiGuy,KJC, and gt40 because they saved me from a lot of troubles and provided me with inspiration and solutions during my endeavor.

Some basic info for my build,
1)3kw 3phase 380v motor 1420rpm belt conversion with timing belt/pulleys (ratios 2/1 and 1/2.5)
2)Mt4 to bt30 conversion spindle
3)mesa 5125 - 7i76 Breakout board
4)ballscrews for x,y rm2005 and rm2505 for z
5)nema34 8nm hybrid motors for x,y and Nema42 20nm for z
6)3/8 impact wrench drawbar design for easier tool change

Where are you planning to source the spindle?

i bought ti from Kami maschinen (germany),they sent me only the shaft without the bearing housing and bearings , if i remember correctly it costed 80e plus shipping.
