I am having problems uploading program files from the SD card on my Calmotion ethernet card, but I think the problem is the Fadal memory??? I can correctly view all the files on the SD card from the machine console and can correctly move/delete files to/from the SD card via my network ethernet.

However, when I delete a file on the machine memory using the NE command, it appears to be gone (deleted), but then it randomly appears again when viewing program library, PR.

I have used RI for memory clear, but the problem persists..., a file I have deleted reappears.

I have uploaded numerous files from the Calmotion SD card and understand its use. The data transfer normally works fine and the programs run on the machine fine. This is a new issue and appears to be the VMC-15 memory acting up???

Is there a master memory re-set/format/etc...? or something else I may try.

I found a procedure for a zero memory reset. I think I will give that a try.

Yes, that would be what I recommend. If that doesn't fix it then remove any extended memory you might have and try deleting it again if it even appears. Reboot the machine and see if the program reappears. If so, you will likely need a software module. If removing the extended memory fixes the problem, then get a new memory board and you are good. We stock both.

zero memory seems to have solved the issue.
all is working again.
