BobCAM strategy for outer material removal

    Hi guys,

I have BobCAM V6 Pro, and I am trying to figure out the best strategy for removing material from the outside of a part. For an example, if I have a circle that I am trying to mill from a square piece of stock and I would like to remove the excess, I'd like to be able to something like the following:

First I would want to machine around the outside of the stock until I reach an offset from the part.

After that, I want to machine each corner piece in an adaptive manner until it gets to the stock.

This would be finished with a profile cut.

Is there a way to do this? I've tried looking at the advanced 3D toolpaths and using boundaries, but I haven't found something satisfactory yet. Thanks!

After more exploring, I was able to do what I was wanting using the 3 axis milling operation - Advanced Rough. It took me a while to figure out how the boundaries and stock selection were working, but this is what I was looking for.
