Question Alphacam 2015 - Importing DXF geometry into specific layer - how to?

Trying to import a DXF geometry into a specific user layer. When I use import, even with the desired layer marked active, it places the geometry in a new layer at the bottom. Can't find any useful information online.

    I appreciate any insight.

Hi, name the layer from the .dxf file exactly like in Alphacam layer. Example: If you have in Alphacam a layer named CONTOUR you should name the layer from AUTOCAD also CONTOUR. When you will import the .dxf file it will be inserted in the Alphacam CONTOUR layer.
