Looking for recommendations for a Chinese CO2 laser

I am looking at the Chinese lasers available on ebay. I am looking to get recommendations from others who have bought them and your experience with them. The wife and I have a side business that does decals, shirts, and signs and just want to be able to expand our capabilities. I am a Applications Engineer (Former Machinist) so I am not afraid of something that needs a bit of tinkering to get it running great. One of the main things we want to do is glass so we will be getting a rotary and I am hinting I want one in the 80w range. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought one from goldraydigital and am very happy with it. I ordered on a Friday and picked it up at fed ex on Tuesday they would have delivered it on Wednesday but I was up in the area so I picked it up. Monica was verynice to deal with and got me up and running quickly

If engraving cylindrical glass objects is your main goal I would suggest to look elsewhere. I don't know what are your requirements and what would you consider acceptable but very likely you will be disappointed with the results. Most machines on eBay are for cutting and rough flat engraving.

I got my 100w laser from China CNC Zone, it's the SL-1060. (I don't know the policy around posting links to specific suppliers....)

But it came with a CW-3000 Chiller, and a rotary axis for round objects, which I haven't tested yet.

Is it the one with RECI and Ruida controller? I noticed they offer the option for cylindrical actuators.
I wonder if they perform better than the traditional flat rails?

My first laser came from there but I needed a bigger one and he didn't have what I wanted I went there and John ran a test file for me. I think I got a lot more laser from Goldraydigital for a lot less money.

I am only looking at the smaller ones. Under $2k. I don't have the budget for a larger unit at this time and I don't think I really need that big of one either. Would love to have one that big if I could....lol

I'm kinda in the same boat.. I've done lots of acrylic signs with my router based cnc and now wanting to get into glass laser engraving .. soo much info.. glad I found cnczone!! lots of reading to be done here.. I like the 100w c02 versions and found this one on aliexpress..

    https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...290e6a29yXI6HD

    100w around $1500 I also like the bigger size of 400mm x 600mm..

would anyone have an opinion about this one?

    Thanks!

Liocheng Jinke Laser resold at a markup.

Dont buy off AliExpress, unless you’re dealing with the manufacturer.

For a 300x500mm machine, the Shenhui GH-350 is $1500 delivered and from a manufacturer with 10+ years making lasers.

100W in that size is overkill. 60W will engrave right nice.

Bought direct from China via Alibaba and Never got the machine due to FDA A# not being updated. Machine was held by CBP and later destroyed and I was left with 4k loss. And that was thru Alibaba 4 years ago. Maybe different now. Bought from US source second time around with zero issues and pretty good support.

If you'd bought with escrow, the seller would have eaten the loss.
