    Question bridgeport v2xt speed question.

I recently replaced the belt and a bushing on our v2xt cnc mill. Since then i ran one job that didn't have any speed change. now i am running it with a program that does have speed changes. i noticed that while the speed is changing, weather up or down, the brake has no air pressure. this is causing the brake to drag and almost stall the spindle. Am I Right to think this is wrong? Any suggestion on fixing this?

We think that we solved this problem. in the past we ran the machine at 70 PSI. we increased the PSI to 80 and now the brake seems to stay off, and the speed change is faster. I think that the tightness of the new bushing and belt sucked away some power. hope this helps someone in the future.
