HDS Spindle making noise after shaft kit replacement

    Hi,
Wondering if anyone has experienced the noise I have with my HSD 929 spindle. I have just replaced it with a new shaft kit so the bearings should be fine. I did notice that with the old shaft that there was a similar sound at start up/warm up but then it would disappear. This leads me to think that there is an issue with the housing unit. The sound is quite tinny and sounds as if something is loose (at the 30 second mark of the video it seems to correct itself slightly) but I've refitted to make sure that all bolts are secure so there shouldn't be a problem there.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

    branchy

Do you have the correct amount of Grease in the Bearings, too much Grease can cause noise's at start up

That's the noise a Bearing can make when it is skidding, from having to much Grease in it, or the Bearings are to tight a fit in the Housing or on the Spindle Shaft, It most likely is to much Grease, because the noise goes away, after it has pushed the grease out
