    Tape Length???

I have a small issue, I need to know how to convert from Bytes to Feet.

I know this might not be a direct conversion, like bytes/x = feet.

I assume the length in feet is from the old tape punches, and I was thinking something along the lines of x bytes per line, and 1 line = .2 inches or something. But then I could be waaaay off.

Can someone tell me or point me to where I can convert?

General rule is that 320m = 128kb, in actuall fact a tape row has max 8bits so and there are 8 bytes to the inch on a standard tape punch.
You cannot really denote it in blocks or lines as these will vary with the program etc, ( 1 ASCII word is contained in one byte).
