Laser not cutting accurately. PLEASE HELP

    Hello!
    First sorry on my english.
I have a rabbit laser 1290 (10years old) and LaserCut 5,3. Because laser wasnt cutting right dimensions (-4mm on x axis on the 1000mm lenght) i change pulse unit so now its cutting correctly. But now when i download files that were made prior to corrections (pulse unit) the letters and the lines are all distorted. If i change the pulse unit back the laser cuts normal. I tried everything but nothing works! Can anyone help me please.

    Kind regards
    Tim C

Does your software have a step length adjustment function setting? For example, if you go into the vendor settings within in the Ruida's RDWorks software, there is a step length figure and when you click on it, it allows you to input the programmed cut length and then the actual cut length so that it comes up with an adjustment factor. You might look for something similar in your software.
