    AliExpress and import charges

    I have never bought anything from AliExpress and I see warnings on the bottom of the item descriptions about the customer being responsible for things like import duties.
    Are any of you familiar with any of these issues?
    This is what I am thinking about buying.

    From what I see in this article, you do not have to pay duties under $2500. I have personally bought a DJI Drone direct from DJI which is based in China and had no issues and that was $1300.
