    Sorce of used linear glass scales / encoders

    Hi,
    I have now found the dro's for both my lathe and my mill.

    I just need the scales!

    Anybody know of a place that sells them used?

    I am in the U.K. so either a local supplier or somebody who ships worldwide.

    They are to fit the Acu-Rite / Anilam 6-pin type readout's.

    ps, can you convert the 5 or 9 pin types to work with the 6 pins or are they all specific?

    I have three glass scales that I am not using that I would be willing to send you for a modest price. Let me take a picture of them and I'll email/post them.
    I know next to nothing about them so I don't know if they will work for your situation. Maybe someone smarter on the forum can let us know.

    I don't have any scales at all as of yet so I dont want to spen a fortune without knowing if the dro's even work!
