    Probing Routine Using ITTP

Probing routine out of Fusion 360. I have the ITTP from https://hallmarkdesign.co.nz/probe and want to set up a probing routine at the start of each part for a second operation. Basically I need to validate and reset G54 due to the part being flipped over and there being some slight +/- variables from OP 1. When I try to CAM it out in Fusion 360 the post fails. Anyone doing this?

This is what post out (cannot find the "log" it's talking about).

You're getting the error because the Fusion post for PP doesnt support probing. https://f360ap.autodesk.com/courses/...behind-probing

Wow! That's some pretty deep macro stuff. Guess it'll be manual mode for now! Thanks for your help and direction!

    Re: Probing Routine Using ITTP

    G'day,

I've modified the Fusion360 Tormach post to give some basic probing functionality by adding a keyword to the comments. Based on that, the post adds some macros to the resultant gcode file. You can get the post from my website: http://www.kunstmade.com.au/CNGTorma...PostAddv11.zip

There's a bunch of other stuff in the post:
    - email sending at tool change and program completion
    - workpeice size calculation
    - tool max depth calculation
    - date and time of gcode generation added
    - adds the fusion setup name to the gcode
    - writes tool description table
    - writes setup notes

The readme file in the zip file has the details.

    Regards, Christian
