[ZK-61]

I have 4 of what I believe are Nema 23 though I am not positive as I don't have any specs on them.

1) Motion Systems Stepping Motor 57HY55DF2DL (2006 - 12 - 29)
2) Motion Systems Stepping Motor 57HS55DS075A (2006 - 12 - 29)
3) Stepping Motor Type 23HS2417 MSW0-62953 MOONS
4) ASTROSYN Stepper Type 23KM-K355-33 No. T9921-01 Minebea Co. LTD.

Also, all these stepper motors have gears on them, only #4 has a set screw. The others are pressed on. Is there a way to remove these gears without going to a lot of expense.

• You could try to remove the gears using a (self made) puller, don't use a hammer!
• A bit of heat could help. Don't over heat or the bearings and stepper coils are gone...
• Cut a slit (Dremel) almost to the axis, then break the gear using a v-shape tool (Nut splitter)
